Maedeh Roodpeyma

Maedeh has over 10 years of experience working with supercritical fluids. Under the supervision of Warren Stiver and Selma Guigard, her research has focused on the development of a pilot-scale, fully continuous supercritical fluid extraction process. Her contributions specifically focussed on process control and spanned design, construction, troubleshooting, commissioning and operating this first-of-its-kind technology.

Maedeh completed her undergraduate studies in the field of Petrochemical Processes and her Masters degree in the field of Simulation and Control. Maedeh’s PhD program allowed her to develop and demonstrate the capacity to use her core chemical engineering and system control expertise on problems associated with environmental protection.
